To get started, simply turn on your sound and press the START button. The objective of the game is to correctly spell 10 words. If you have the fastest game time in the weekly contest, you can win $100 USD. And if you're the fastest speller in the monthly contest, you have a chance to win $1000 USD.
What's great about SPELLIT is that you don't have to be the fastest speller to win the weekly prize. As long as you're 13 years or older (except in restricted or prohibited areas), and you spell 10 words correctly in 5 minutes or less, you'll be entered into the weekly random drawing. The more you play, the more chances you have to win.
If you make a mistake while spelling a word, you can use the BACK key to erase a wrong letter. Additionally, if you need a word repeated, simply press the HEAR key. After spelling each word, press the ENTER key to proceed.
The results page displays the names and game times of the 100 fastest players, so you can see if you or your friends have won. Please note that winning is subject to verification according to the Official SPELLIT Game Rules.
